At his 2 year scan after Auto Stem Cell Transplant from Mantle Cell Lymphoma

This is My Story

My husband had been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in 2021. He went through treatment and a stem cell transplant. He had started noticing fatigue, night sweats, less hunger, etc. again, but unfortunately his hematology oncologist wrote it off as normal after his transplant and chemo. At his 2 year scan a spot was found on his liver and pancreas. It had metastasized and was stage 4. He was able to have 2 treatments before he passed away on June 25th at our home. Early detection, and patient advocacy, is so important. We, our kids and I, miss him every day.

The Impact of Time

This disease took my husband so quickly. By the time it was found it was stage 4. Each day between April and June was a gift.
