This event took place from 06/01/2017 to 11/06/2025

The Discovery

Had a rough day, decided to have a beer which was odd because I really didn’t drink. It caused pancreatitis and they discovered it was pancreatic cancer. Had the Whipple procedure 3 months later after my pancreas settled down.

This is My Story

Staying positive and accepting prayers from others is and what keeps me going every day!

The Impact of Time

It definitely impacted my life in so many ways, especially living in the moment and being grateful I’m still here 8 years later. It forced me to retire early and gave me a couple years of fishing daily with my husband before he passed away.
